What customers say about "Key Specs"
Canon EOS Rebel T7i EF-S 18-55 IS STM Kit
- Nothing bad at all to say about this camera, the only thing that is missing is a full frame sensor.
- Great camera, has same sensor but also the newer processor than more expensive options, takes great photos and video, low light suffers slightly but due to kit lens I assume.
- The T7i features 45 all cross type sensors and shoots up to 6 frames per second in photo mode perfect for shooting your childs weekend soccer match.
- Purchased T7 after reviewing specs on more expensive canons. The 45 focal points allows for a very clear and sharp picture. I am very satisfied with picture quality and ease of use.
- The STM lens is very smooth and quite when using auto focus with video.
Canon EOS 80D Digital SLR Camera
- LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I was a little hesitant to go with a crop sensor but I absolutely love it! You just can't beat the face tracking, autofocus, plus photo capabilities! I've used a variety of lenses as well and had great results.
- Sensor improvements. Hard to beat the 80D as a multi function tool that competes very well with the best in its price class from any manufacturer.
- This camera is solid. The sensor is great in low light!!! I worked on a major book project using it and the photos were great.
- Considering the cropped sensor, the body is actually quite big even compared to full-frame dslrs
- The cropped sensor makes finding the perfect lens a bit difficult since they are made with full-frame cameras in mind (i.e. if you want a nice 35mm lens, you actually are shopping in the less popular 24mm lens range)

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Canon EOS Rebel T7i EF-S 18-55 IS STM Kit
- The next advantage is something I already touched on earlier. The size and bulk. These prosumer line cameras are typically much smaller and lighter than their pro-grade cousins.
- The camera is fairly light weight for its size too. But I had to get a bigger camera bag, of course.
- I enjoy this camera alot. Great for videos and photos with a nice selection lenses. But for the price it's pretty hefty . Especially with the alternative cameras that have 4k or lighter weight.
- The picture clarity, battery life, handling, weight of the camera, features are all great!
Canon EOS 80D Digital SLR Camera
- Feels much closer to the size/weight of a full frame than my previous crop sensor
- I bought this and the and a used 5d3 at the same time and I decided to keep this. The swivel and touch screen is nice to have and I like the smallet size and weight.
- I appreciate the comfortable hand grip and the light weight of the 80D.
- pretty good battery, pretty good AF, good weight, very multipurposed.
- heavy and large as it's a DSLR, the future seems going to mirrorless, as they are smaller in size, lighter and faster,

What customers say about "Imaging"
Canon EOS Rebel T7i EF-S 18-55 IS STM Kit
- This was purchased for our marketing department. Great features at this price point. Great images right out of the camera.
- This is by far the best camera I've ever used very user friendly and the images are stunning.
- Awesome camera. Takes beautiful pictures. You definitely need the flash attachment. Camera doesn't zoom in to focus at night.
- Very good quality and some improve previous version T6i lower ISO and most of them the same but new CPU is faster
- The 45 focal points allows for a very clear and sharp picture.
Canon EOS 80D Digital SLR Camera
- Video quality is great. Autofocus and metering can be customized. The imaging is sharp and focusing capabilities when moving are excellent.
- Great value, again the combination of features for video (wide range of resolutions and frame rates, fully-articulating-touch screen, lots of image stabilized lenses) and photos (pretty fast at 7fps, fairly good low-light performance around 1100 ISO) make this a jack of all trades.
- Haven't used much yet because I need to micro adjust my lenses and haven't had time. But I can say this far outranks my 7D for use in low light. Very little grain when I used at 1600 ISO in low light.
- Has many focus points and high speed ISO with good solid construction.
- This camera is awesome. The ISO is higher. It is easy to control. The shutter speed is faster for multiple shots. It is quiet
- No 50 ISO

What customers say about "Display"
Canon EOS Rebel T7i EF-S 18-55 IS STM Kit
- The screen and photo quality are both high end (like professional level stuff).
- Very Easy to use. I never had a personal camera before. It has automatic mode. Easy to use because it's touch screen
- The camera is easy to use, the flip screen is also a plus. I would defiantly recommend this camera for beginner and intermediate.
- The touch screen LCD makes the use of the camera even easier!!!
- I'm also really enjoying the moveable LCD screen. I can adjust it to any position I need it, and I can flip it 180 degrees to show others the photos I had taken. Naturally, when you flip the screen, the photo will flip too.
Canon EOS 80D Digital SLR Camera

- ouch screen is nice, especially for directing point of focus.

What customers say about "Features"
Canon EOS Rebel T7i EF-S 18-55 IS STM Kit
- I am learning how to use the camera manually, playing with aperture, shutter, and exposure settings. It is very user friendly and takes great pictures.
- Still figuring all the cool features...but I love it!
- Takes amazing photos, when you can has many features, but I was just a convenient wallet for purchase
- The best camera that has the features of a professional camera but is still easy enough for a beginner to learn with.
- Easy to set up, has a lot of nice features that make it easy to take good photos
Canon EOS 80D Digital SLR Camera
- Great image quality, fast focusing, 7fps is great, light weight, lots of settings, wifi capable is very useful.
- Got this for its great ease and useful details especially love the wifi transfer of photos
- This one checks all the boxes - takes great photos AND videos, fully articulating touch screen, really fast and reliable touch focusing, mic AND headphone jacks, Wifi and NFC commo, and weather sealing (although not as robust as the xD models). I definitely recommend.
- I love that I can set up everything and compose the shot using live view through my iPad Pro. Auto bracketing for HDR is really nice too.
- Better dynamic range than 70d. Time lapse is a nice bonus.
- No AF past 1.4x magnification macro tubes or teleconverters
- Bad microphone recording (as expected from DSLRs), and external mic. is a must (thus add to the price and the gear you cary)

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Canon EOS Rebel T7i EF-S 18-55 IS STM Kit
- This model has the wifi/bluetooth connectivity to transfer pictures to your phone, with the Canon Camera Connect app for smartphones.
- Love the wireless connection to cell phone, can operate the camera and download/upload images on the spot.
- The WiFi/bluetooth feature is very convenient! I am able to transfer photos to my phone for immediate sharing.
- The built-in WiFi will allow quick transfer to mobile devices with the Canon app only.
- It is difficult to get the camera to connect to anything. The process seems like it's syncing for the fist time, every time you try.
- Bluetooth is only for camera control, and pictures cannot be transferred via bluetooth.
Canon EOS 80D Digital SLR Camera
- The fact that it has a built in flash and you can use both Canon EF-S and EF professional line of lenses makes it a versatile DSLR.
- Side mounted SD card is convenient for loading/unloading your card while mounted to a tripod
- Wi-Fi eats batteries crazy fast, so carry spares. Video and LiveView are also available via wired USB or HDMI connection and are smoother and less battery draining.
- On the left side of the body, there are protected ports for an external microphone and monitor jack, a port for a wired remote, HDMI port and USB port.
- I did purchase a good Canon flash and have an external microphone for video, All in all very glad that I bought this.

What customers say about "Power"
Canon EOS Rebel T7i EF-S 18-55 IS STM Kit
- I was able to use all of my lenses from my previous Rebel. But not the batteries or the battery grip. But that's not a huge deal, as it was time to replace those as well.
- Camera is amazing life long battery. Good product.
- The picture clarity, battery life, handling, weight of the camera, features are all great!
- Very, very disappointed that there is no battery grip for this camera.
Canon EOS 80D Digital SLR Camera
- Battery life is exceptional shooting stills, do not have a ton of video time under my belt yet. So far very happy with my new body.
- Canon battery that is included lasts for a long time on a single charge
- Battery door placement should allow battery swap while mounted to a tripod if your tripod head isn't overly large
- I have to return it though as too many times with the battery in the camera would just freeze. I would turn off and it still would be frozen on, until I took the camera battery out. Annoying and happened right out of the box.
