What customers say about "Key Specs"
Lowepro Photo Hatchback 22L AW Outdoor Day Camera Backpack for DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
- My Nikon D7100 fits great, with 18-55 lens attached, extra lens, charger and a little extra space.
- In the main camera compartment I fit a Nikon D7100 with battery grip, an attached 24-70mm, 100mm macro lens, and a 10-24 wide angle lens.
- The quality of workmanship is good. The bag is made of good quality material when compared to my other camera bags.
- The front pocket has a nicely padded sleeve that fits a full-size iPad perfectly, while leaving room for magazines, or other large, document-shaped items.
- The materials aren't exactly on par with what you might find in a (far more expensive) backpack intended for serious long-term outdoor use.
Lowepro Photo Hatchback 16L Daypack Style Backpack For DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
- It has plenty of room in the upper compartment for snacks, etc. Love this design also.
- The fact that the compartments are separate makes it easy to find things in both.
- It holds my crop-frame DSLR, a couple of smallish lenses, various other camera gear, and a jacket with space to spare.
- The top half of the backpack can be used as a normal bag which can provide a decent amount of storage.
- The only problem with the pack is the camera compartment is about an inch too small to squeeze in my 300mm lens.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Lowepro Photo Hatchback 22L AW Outdoor Day Camera Backpack for DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
- It looks sharp , is lightweight, and is extremely functional. Nice padded straps also good.
- This backpack is worth the buy. It's lightweight and convertible. There is the 22 liter size which can hold more..
- This 22 liter backpack is the lightweight and the hatchback is the main feature of this bag.
- The shoulder straps are comfortable as well when the bag is full, and rather lightweight for full day hikes.
- This is definitely a lightweight day-pack, so if you're looking for something to haul around lots of gear then this will not work for you.
Lowepro Photo Hatchback 16L Daypack Style Backpack For DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
- My bag with my three lenses, accessories and my camera body weighs about 7 pounds, so even though it is big, it isn't very heavy.
- I am 5ft with a small frame and I did not feel like this bag was too bulky or heavy for me. Perfect bag that you can take everywhere!
- The material is light but seems STRONG. The whole pack is pleasingly LIGHT without any gear, which is main reasons for purchase.
- Some bags are just so heavy and cumbersome to begin with...before you even load them up, so this bag is much lighter.
- This backpack is lightweight and it does what it's supposed to do... it keeps your camera safe!

What customers say about "Protection"
Lowepro Photo Hatchback 22L AW Outdoor Day Camera Backpack for DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
- The zippers are good and don't feel like they will get stuck on the material.
- When the weather gets nasty, you just release the velcro, pull the fly over your bag, and you are have the peace of mind of knowing that your equipment is protected.
- For the camera section, I love that it comes out and is still quite protected if I'm using the bag for other purposes.
- I like the removable camera "case", which you can use to protect a camera in another bag.
- The camera stuff is nicely protected from pickpockets since it opens against your back.
Lowepro Photo Hatchback 16L Daypack Style Backpack For DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
- There's a pocket in the middle that is VERY secure and it's perfect for carrying my camera around.
- The waterproof cover is a nice touch and seems durable enough, although I've only used it to protect the bag from wet snow, not actual rain.
- This bag is perfect for someone headed out for a day of fun but wants to safely pack his prized DSLR camera. This bag protects it well against water, sand, and other elements.
- The bag overall was designed carefully to protect expensive camera equipment while functioning as a lesser carry-all.
- It is very well designed and has ample padding to protect your gear from bumps and scrapes and the elements.

What customers say about "Features"
Lowepro Photo Hatchback 22L AW Outdoor Day Camera Backpack for DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
- Having a built in rain fly is something I wish my other bags had like this one does.
- The thin pocket made for a tablet is a great fit for the iPad I own. Overall, for the things they have designed for, they have done a great job.
- Love the front pockets for iPad (currently using for manual, writing notebook & pens)!
- The arm straps are padded as well as the back of the backpack (the part that touches your back directly).
- The padding on the back pad and straps is thick and comfortable, and is covered in a (fairly) breathable mesh that is comfortable to wear all day.
Lowepro Photo Hatchback 16L Daypack Style Backpack For DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
- The camera compartment is removable and a flap comes out in the event that you just need a regular backpack.
- The all weather rain fly is very easy to apply and put back away. Easy to use!
- It has two water pockets on the outside which are roomy and convenient.
- The compartment for the camera can be removed and convert to a carrying case with a drawstring.
- I know this bag is small, and isn't supposed to hold a ton, but it would really be nice if there was a way to attach a tripod to it.
