Diamondback Bicycles Insight 1 (02-0310063) New 2018 Complete Pavement Bike
- Not the fastest or lightest bike on the road but I think it's great for my commute and the price point.
- I'm 5'6" and the small fits me perfectly. I'll update if I encounter anything outrageous but I'm very happy with this one.
- The bike is light weight, easy to manuver and looks good. I am new to riding but I think I got a great deal
- The first ride was really nice. I took it eight miles to my LBS to have them check my brake installation and to buy a light, and it rode effortlessly on the road/sidewalk.
- The gears shift quite smoothly for the most part, and the brakes have a decently tight feel to them.
Diamondback Bicycles Insight 2 Complete Hybrid Bike
- Overall, if you are looking to do some commuting or cruising around on paved trails and city streets, then this bike will probably fit that need very well
- This bike is as good as it gets for the money. Its a hybrid but more of a road bike dominant.
- Outstanding bike for cruising around an RV park or on moderate trails.
- It is so light it flies on trails! It's a great starter bike for me so that I can customize it.
- It is basically a city bike, that can be used for light trails.

What customers say about "Components"
Diamondback Bicycles Insight 1 (02-0310063) New 2018 Complete Pavement Bike
- From what I remember all I needed to do was attach the handle bars, pedals, seat post, and wheels for initial assembly.
- The tires are neither skinny racing tires or big mountain bike tires. Since I intend to ride on paved roads and smooth trails for fitness and enjoyment, and was looking for a bike that was more agile than a cruiser but less intense than a mountain bike- so far this bike seems about perfect for me.
- Tires are inflated through Presta style valves, so be sure your air pump can accommodate (you can easily purchase a presta valve adapter).
- Seems like a well built product, all parts seem well put together and high quality. No complaints at all, would definately recommend this bike!
- Brakes - good, but like any set of this type they are prone to sequal. Derailers - good enough for this price point...
Diamondback Bicycles Insight 2 Complete Hybrid Bike
- There are pre-drilled and tapped holes and bolts to install water bottle holders on the frame in two places. Holes for a rear fender or rack are also there as a plus.
- The bike is really quiet, and the Shimano shifters and Altus Derailleurs are pretty awesome.
- I have put about 85 miles on the bike so far and am very pleased with the operation of the disc brakes and derailers.
- The bike is solid, very light, shifts well, the disc breaks are great and overall very good purchase.
- Light weight but well built. Smooth shifting and great brakes.
