VIZIO SmartCast E-Series (E55u-D2) 4K Ultra HD LED Smart Home Theater Display
- The picture quality is great and the tv is easy to mount, set up and use.
- I'm a fan of Vizio TVs. They have excellent picture quality, easy video.
- Beautiful picture when you have a picture.
- The picture is as good as my Samsung 60" 4K for 1/4 of the price.
- The picture quality is fine, but the sound quality is pretty bad.
VIZIO M50-C1 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV
- If you are looking for GREAT resolution at a economical price, this is the TV for you
- When watching true 4K content, I just recommend pulling your couch/chair a little closer to the TV to enjoy the higher resolution
- The resolution and picture vastly exceed my previous 1080p LCD television and were well worth the upgrade.
- The colors pop, the blacks are black, and the motion and resolution are stellar.
- The only issue I had with the TV was the "Soap Opera Effect" default when I got it out of the box. Everything I watched, even Hollywood blockbusters felt like I was watching "One Life to Live."
- TV is pretty reflective, but isn't glossy

What customers say about "Video"
VIZIO SmartCast E-Series (E55u-D2) 4K Ultra HD LED Smart Home Theater Display
- The picture is great, as advertised, and setup was fast.
- The picture quality of the TV is very impressive, especially with 4K content.
- The blacks were very black, and the colors were overall vibrant.
- Content from 1080p sources also looked great. Upscaling from 720p was decent at best.
- Decent picture for the money. The brights are bright on this one!
VIZIO M50-C1 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV
- Contrast and black levels are superb. Color reproduction, viewing angles and upscaling are all solid.
- Super crisp clear & defined with super contrasts & colors.
- When calibrated correctly, the color and contrast on this TV is incredible.
- This is a very nice tv with an amazing picture. The 4k video quality will blow you away, especially if this is your first 4k tv like it was mine.
- The active LED zones are very apparent, big blocks of light break up the picture even when this feature is turned off. Otherwise its a very attractive and capable unit.

What customers say about "Audio"
VIZIO SmartCast E-Series (E55u-D2) 4K Ultra HD LED Smart Home Theater Display
- The speakers from the TV are decent – not great, not terrible, but appropriate for this price range.
- The sound is great without the addition of a sound system, and I like the SmartCasting feature.
- Very good, loud sound. Bass isn’t punchy but it is a thin TV
- Native sound is pretty good too. I hope it reliably serves me for some time. So far I'm impressed.
- The speakers sound tinny and you'll have to turn the volume way up. I don't mind too much because I have a sound bar, but I would be very disappointed if I didn't.
VIZIO M50-C1 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV
- Sound is really good for this thin an enclosure, I do recommend investing in a soundbar to get the full impact of this TV.
- The sound is clear and the surround sound is amazing.
- I really like the sound leveling which keeps commercials from blasting at top volume
- Not bad sound quality from built in speakers
- Horrible sound, which was expected. However, it’s not a deal breaker as the surround sound works well enough. I would suggest external sound if you’re planning on this to be in more than a bedroom.
- Sound - frequency response (bad) --- useable volume levels are limited. With a simple adapter, I added amplified speakers powered by the tv's usb and use them instead of the built-in, or listen through the home theater (via optical cable)

What customers say about "Interfaces"
VIZIO SmartCast E-Series (E55u-D2) 4K Ultra HD LED Smart Home Theater Display
- Easy to set up. Easy to use. Very good inter-connectivity. Nice remote.
- Set up was a breeze, and internet connection is not the least bit buggy.
- The internet connection keeps failing on this TV.
- My unit also randomly turns on by itself and I have no hdmi connections to the device and have turned cec off.
- It will not stay connected to the internet. I have to turn this unit off/on at least every 2 hours.
VIZIO M50-C1 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV
- The LCD panel is great, the WiFi performance is on point and lots of HDMI ports.
- HDMI ports and USB, nice. DLNA support works well with my multimedia DLNA router wireless or direct connect is so cool!
- Vizio is a lower end brand so they are competing on value and features. And this one is chock full of features--as I said earlier 5 HDMI ports, USB input, Component video, analog audio out, SPDIF optical port and a wired ethernet port.
- One real disappointment is that ARC is working only on HDMI 1 which makes it impossible for me to use HDMI5 (the only port with high velocity mode) for my playstation and have the sound routed to the external speakers at the same time...
